Washington High School is officially undergoing a name change that will see the school drop the ultra racist and VERY aggressive “Warriors” moniker.

“It’s 2020 and we don’t need these super racist and really aggressive names on our schools. You have to remember that school is for delicate and growing flowers, too. Many students don’t feel represented by a ‘Warrior.’ This is 2020, not 1920. We need to move past these racial stereotypes that all high schoolers are warriors,” said one school district representative we spoke with.

The move comes at a time where literally everything is racist or just generally disliked about America.

“I’ve only started studying about racism in America, but after leaving my borough in New York for a week, I can fully see how racist America actually is. It’s ridiculous that some school in a town I’ve never heard of uses the name, “Warriors.” That is so unbelievably racist toward nice and delicate people all over this country and throughout our long American history,” said one New Yorker who insisted we interview her after she heard about the name change.

The Sioux Falls School District is believed to be looking into Lincoln and Roosevelt next, as they think “Patriots” are offensive to other nations, and “Rough Riders” are too harsh for nice people all over the world.

“Rough Riders is just too harsh. How can that name even exist anymore? Teddy Roosevelt himself wouldn’t even agree to that name in 2020. I would know, I studied history back in the day. Then you have the Patriots, which is extremely offensive to countries like China and Europe. I’m not the geographical genius or anything, but I read that it’s pretty offensive on the internet, so we’re looking at the changes very carefully and not taking anyone’s input who voted for Trump,” said the school representative we spoke with.

The school district hope to have changes made before the school year starts back up next month.
