A long forgotten Sioux Falls foam company finally got their revenge on the very city that ousted them decades ago.
“It is understood that the city excommunicated this company from the area in the late 70s after they discovered foam in the nearby Big Sioux River. The company and all of the employees disappeared after that. The trail went cold,” said one representative we spoke with.
The company is getting the last laugh now that Sioux Falls has finally discovered their parting gift.
“The foam…is everywhere. It’s like that old movie with the movie theater and the blob thing. That’s a good movie, but this is a bad situation we have on our hands here,” said one Sioux Falls Police Department representative.
Sioux Falls citizens had absolutely no idea a company could do such a thing to the Big Sioux.
“I’m absolutely appalled by this news. I consider myself a pretty environmentally friendly person. I plant a tree on Earth Day every year. I’m very green, but to hear that a company would do this so long ago is just crazy,” said one local we spoke with.
The city is rumored to be naming the new high school after the Sioux Falls signature foam.
