The newly dubbed “Fence Force” from Mayor TenHaken is sure to catch some of those pesky fence jumpers that have been terrorizing the city lately.
“We’ve had reports of people jumping fences everywhere in the city, and our
sources are telling us they have been practicing for jumping the fences
planned for Falls Park,” said one Sioux Falls Police Department representative.
Fence Force has been secretly operating within the city for some time now, and we’re told they have monitored many fences since their introduction.
“We’re very prepared to protect Falls Park from fence jumpers when the fence goes up. The citizens should rest assured that their tax dollars are
being used correctly,” said the SFPD representative.
Citizens are still baffled as to why something like Falls Park needs to be
fenced off, when train tracks don’t have arms that come down.
“So, citizens are smart enough to avoid driving or stepping in front of a
moving train without protection. But, we need a fence to go around raging
water. Makes a lot of sense,” said one local citizen we spoke with.
No official start date has been set for the Fence Force.
