After a scathing report released yesterday that city councilors went ahead and ignored where exactly public money was going, development companies have changed their payment methods when working with the City of Sioux Falls.

“We’re really looking into Bitcoin and other forms of untraceable money. Cash is king, but we’ll settle for other forms as well. We don’t want anything traced back to us,” said one anonymous development manager.

In the report, it is said that some councilors warned multiple times about corrupt public funding going towards a downtown development.

“I kept trying to warn everyone, but I supposed the development company already infiltrated public officials,” said one councilor we spoke with.

A former administration cabinet member who sealed the deal with a development company, is now in charge of the funds he secured.

“It’s a great day for Sioux Falls. We get to put this great project up that will benefit everyone,” said one former cabinet member.

The City of Sioux Falls ASSURES everyone they are not misusing public funds for private projects and that citizens will get to park there at LEAST once a year.
