Sanford announced yesterday that it will be opening another huge facility on their sports complex grounds that we can all post about and like on Facebook, but never actually go to.
“It’s going to be a great site where people can come and do shots, hit some shots, and possibly get shot,” said Sanford representatives.
It’s said that CEO Kelby Krabbenhoft wanted to just go ahead and buy the company “Topgolf”, but T. Denny would not let him have enough money.
“We just went ahead and did a Control-C, Control-V on it and named it something with ‘Great’ in it, so that in a couple years a certain gym can come in and buy it without changing the name,” said a Sanford representative.
The 54,000-square-foot building with be on the southeast corner of Benson Road and Westport Avenue, so it will sadly not interfere with any through streets like the Minnehaha Country Club.
“Originally, we were going to try and build it where it would inconvenience the most people, but those plans fell through because we couldn’t buy the land,” said one Sanford representative.
Sanford will again not profit off of this venture, because they are a not-for-profit organization.
