After the Log Cabin closed recently, the 6 frequent patrons of the bar were left with nowhere to look but to another bar.

That’s when one entrepreneur stepped in and became the new owner and manager of the dive bar.

“It was really sad to see grown men and women crying in the streets because their beloved bar closed,” said the Log Cabin’s new manager.

The Log Cabin was closed for many hours before new management stepped in to reopen the dive bar to the 6 regulars.

“Just a dream come true for us. Truly a higher power called, and Jack Daniel answered that call. So blessed to have this in our lives,” said one patron we spoke with.

The Log Cabin’s new management says it will be open 365 days a year, but that will not come as a surprise to patrons.

“We have a very hardcore clientele here. We’re not really looking to expand that. If you’re not a regular, the vinyl will keep scratching when you walk in the door, and everyone will look at you funny,” said the new owner.

The Log Cabin is located at 1515 W. Burnside Street in Sioux Falls.
