The Iowan has been located and is safely back with their family after hours of being overwhelmed with all of the one way streets in downtown Sioux Falls.

“I just kept going one way. It was like nothing I had ever seen in my life. A very overwhelming and confusing time in my life,” said the Iowan.

Downtown Sioux Falls continues to be a never ending maze of blind intersections, one ways, and streets made for ant vehicles.

“The other day, I was on a one way, and all the sudden I was in Brookings. I grew up here and I don’t even know how it happened,” said one local we spoke with.

“You know I, uh, have the tools to fix them, I just, uh, really don’t want to use them in this administration. I’m just really disappointed is all. That the administration before me, uh, didn’t fix all this,” said the newly sworn-in Mayor Paul TenHaken.

Citizens of Sioux Falls have put their faith in the new Mayor to fix all things bad about Sioux Falls, including the one ways, and confusing downtown set up.

“He’s going to come in and totally change everything like we’ve never seen before. He has my total support!” said another local we spoke with.

It’s estimated 25% of the driving population that frequents downtown has driven the wrong way on a one way in the last 3 months.
