City officials sent out a memo earlier today stating they successfully added to the amount of windows at City Hall by 75% to increase the transparency of local government.
“We obviously want as much transparency as we can get, so we went through the whole building and installed a bunch of windows,” said one representative.
Windows were installed in bathrooms, offices, and the roof.
“It’s just so great that I don’t have to take my sunglasses off when I enter the building now,” said Mayor Mike Huether.
With mostly all political candidates running a “more transparent local government” ticket, the new installation of windows at City Hall really bolsters the future of transparency in city politics.
“I’m very excited to see the city has taken measures to increase transparency!” said one local political candidate.
We’re not sure who received the contract to install the windows, but we are very sure that City Hall will release the records since they are now super transparent.
We have not received word on if the Argus will sue for this information or not.
