It’s Valentine’s Day again and men from around the area have planned for this day since the New Year began.
“I called ahead to make sure the ole couch and I got some good dinner reservations. Planning to make it a full night of romance and fun,” said one Sioux Falls man we spoke with.
Reservations at local restaurants skyrocketed last weekend, with many having to turn customers away in the end.
“We can’t handle all these reservations anymore. We’re booked all day,” said one Fryn’ Pan Manager.
Local furniture stores also began to receive massive couch orders this weekend in anticipation for the big day.
“I actually just hooked up with my couch last weekend. It’s been a great few days, and I’m really looking forward to Valentine’s Day,” said another Sioux Falls citizen we spoke with.
Flowers are expected to sell out at local retail shops which will put a hamper on some Sioux Falls citizen’s evenings.
“We’re trying our hardest to grow more flowers as quickly as possible,” said a flower shop owner.
With Valentine’s Day comes increased amount of cat adoptions from local humane societies, as well.
