On Saturday, 3 non-country bands will take stage at the Denny for a night of rock and roll fun, but Sioux Falls citizens are not impressed by this.
In an effort to keep the Denny strictly a country music venue, citizens have launched a heavy attack on the organizers who brought the 3 large rock acts to the event center.
“We’re not here for some rocky schmocky, we’re here for the real music. What would Garth do? That’s what we must ask ourselves in these times of great need.” said the organizer of the protest.
While other citizens are confused by the intentions of these protesters, some are actually going to see the bands rock the house tomorrow night.
“Yeah I’m fuckin’ stoked, man. It’s gonna be a hell of a time. Fuck yeah.” said one concert goer.
Mayor Huether was spotted wearing his signature leather black chaps, handing out political fliers to concert goers lining up.
“It’s really special that we have non mainstream rockers coming to the Sioux Falls area. Just another addition to the great lineups we’ve hosted since the T. Denny Sanford Event Center was built.” said the Mayor.
Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, and Bullet for My Valentine take the stage tomorrow at 6:30pm at the Denny.
