December 13th, 2017 will forever be known as the day that Terri Bell-Driver set the Guinness World Record and the city of Sioux Falls couldn’t be more proud.
Terri set the world record early in the day at the intersection of Phillips Avenue and East 13th Street while en route to meet her friend for lunch.
We’re told that Terri Bell-Driver is now the lone holder of the Guinness World Record of waving people to go before her at a stop sign. She’s said to have waved over 159 people when it was her turn to go at the stop sign.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have drivers like Terri in town. It really shows how humble and generous drivers are in this city.” said Mayor Mike Huether.
“I just like waving at people.” said Terri Bell-Driver
New York City has reached out to Terri to be a part time traffic cop, but Terri has declined their invitation we’re told.
